The consequences of heavy vehicle crashes has been highlighted once again by incident that happened on the Warrego Highway at Ipswich recently. A b-double truck lost control while travelling through trees in a 100km/h zone. The truck jack-knifed before rolling and landing on a car. The driver of the truck was not injured however the other driver had to be cut free from the vehicle in which he was trapped. The man was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
