Unimaginable tragedy has struck a family who lost 3 of their children in one crash on the Newell Highway in northern NSW.
Three teenagers, believed to be siblings have lost their lives after the Pantech truck being driven by the oldest sibling collided with a petrol tanker. The car with the other 2 siblings was following behind and crashed into the other 2 vehicles.
The driver of the tanker was taken to hospital for treatment but the 3 teenagers weren’t as lucky.
The collision occured at Boggabilla near the Queensland-NSW border around 6am on a Monday morning.
Investigators are working hard to determine what ensued but police described the scene as “quite dramatic”.
Early reports suggested the driver of the Pantech removal truck was a 19 male driver. His 2 younger sisters were following him in a car and were also involved in the pile-up.
Motorists were advised to find alternate routes to avoid the road where the fiery crash occurred.
