Report Calls for Zero Deaths on Australian Roads

A collision between a car and truck in Sydney’s south-west has claimed the lives of 3 people and resulted in injury for 2 more.

Five people were in the car when it hit into A semi-trailer before crashing into a fence, resulting in the horrific scene.

While police don’t know the exact cause of the crash, it appears that the car veered into the truck’s path.

The 74 year old male driver of the car was treated by paramedics but died on the scene, together with 2 other passengers, a middle-aged male and a female.

Witnesses mentioned how distressing the scene was, with debris everywhere.

A 76 year old female passenger was trapped in the car for 20 minutes and was taken to hospital with neck, rib and stomach pain.
