Another horrific crash has occurred on our roads, this time on the Newell Highway near Coonabarabran. Traffic had to be diverted after 2 trucks collided in an overnight crash. The highway was closed in both directions, just past the Oxley Highway as emergency services and traffic crews were attending to the scene. While the cause of the crash has not yet been revealed, most overnight crashes are linked to fatigue. It’s important we recognise the importance of managing fatigue especially when driving overnight.
