Victorian Police have launched a road blitz that will last six weeks in an effort to reduce road trauma. Operation Limit will target 16 high risk areas in the rural parts of Melbourne, as they’ve seen an increase in accidents during a five year period. Assistant Police Commissioner Robert Hill has said that historically the first three months of a year carry the highest risk for road trauma within Victoria.
