The Melbourne Exhibition Centre will host the Safety in Action Conference from the 19th to the 21st March this year. The conference will give safety experts from around the nation the opportunity to come together to share information and see the latest in safety technology and thinking. Tony Francis, the director of Safety in Action said that no other event has the same level of commitment to safety. He said that attendees will have access to free seminars on burning topics from experts in the industry, the latest technology will be on show and there will be plenty of opportunities for safety workers and interested parties to create or renew important networks. The speakers at the Safety in Action Conference 2013 all originate from different backgrounds. They will be drawing on and sharing their experience from the legal profession, academia, risk management, border control, construction, and mining. The Safety in Action Conference will also host the SIA national Safety Convention on the 19th and 20th March where world leaders in safety will gather to talk about the essential workplace safety issues that challenge them worldwide. Topics like Occupational Health and Safety legislation, best practices and other important safety concerns will be discussed as these world industry experts gather to exchange experience and knowledge. The other must see for people that are interested in safety and attending the Safety in Action Conference is the Advanced Logistics and Materials Handling show that will also be held at the Convention Centre at the same time. This is a show that covers all areas that are to do with supply chain. This trade show will cover all of the essential information that workers in the supply chain area need to know. Areas like packing, moving, storing, tracking and delivering will all be covered with the latest in technology to make this work a whole lot easier.
