Remember the tragic incident involving a 60 year old woman who was run over by a truck driver as she walked across a pedestrian crossing, the driver who failed to stop is now facing court over the incident.
The driver was employed by Baiada chicken processing and the company has since had its factories across the state raided.
There were dozens of defect notices issues after police conducted simultaneous raids at the factories.
Police say the driver of the truck did not stop after he struck the woman, walking across a pedestrian crossing.
A second truck then dragged the woman down the road before its driver stopped to help her.
