The same bridge in Melbourne has been repeatedly struck by truck loads, after drivers failed to negotiate the bridge height.
The latest incident brought chaos to Melbourne’s roads after an overpass in Footscray was struck.
The driver was transporting a container on his truck, which struck the bottom of the overpass and dislodged from the semi-trailer. In the past 5 years, 41 incidents have occurred at the same site.
