The chaos that ensued after a truck grazed the inside wall of the Sydney Airport Tunnel has been caught on video.

The truck which appears to be exceeding the height limit of the tunnel, can be seen grazing the wall, ripping off sprinklers as it drives through.

Sparks and smoke were sent flying from the truck and water began to spray from the sprinkler system, covering the road in water until the water system was turned off.

In addition to thousands of dollars in damage caused to the tunnel, traffic was delayed for hours as a result of the incident.
