A truck driver was killed when a fuel tanker and 2 other trucks collided on the M1 Pacific Motorway.
The vehicles became engulfed in flames which started a bushfire in the Lake Macquarie region.
According to reports the incident occurred when one truck traveling south along the highway clipped the rear end of a truck which was parked on the side of the road. This caused the crash involving 3 trucks and one car.
The incident caused a large collision involving a B-Double and another truck carrying a load of fuel.
