A 6 year old girl is fighting for her life after a crash on the Bunya Highway west of the Sunshine Coast. Two people were killed in the crash including a seven year old boy. According to police, a semi-trailer towing a tri-axle trailer smashed into the white dual cab ute at the intersection of Kilroy Murgon Road and the Bunya Highway in Murgon. The 27 year old male driver of the ute and the 7 year old passenger died on the scene, while a 6 year old female passenger is fighting for her life in hospital. The injured girl suffered critical head injuries while a fourth passenger, a 1 year old girl suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital. The truck driver who was treated for shock at the scene was otherwise uninjured.
