Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) CEO Gary Mahon says the Heavy Vehicle National Law should be subject to a total revamp in conception and approach.
Together with other industry bodies, Mahon gave evidence to the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) amendments inquiry, expressing concern that the handling of heavy vehicle regulation is stuck in a 20th century mindset.
Despite our world being a digital one, the industry is bound by analogue legislation.
