A collision has occured in rural NSW between a truck carrying livestock and a sedan. The two people in the car were killed on the scene, during the incident which took place on the Newell Highway, south of Dubbo recently. The truck driver was rushed to Dubbo Base Hospital for treatment where he underwent mandatory blood and urine tests. The truck was carrying sheep at the time of the crash, several of which were also killed in the crash. Following the accident the Newell Highway was closed in both directions near Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
