The Australian Trucking Association’s (ATA) Industry Technical Council (ITC), has developed and released a new technical advisory on certified load restraint curtain systems (CLRC).

The technical advisory, which was designed to fill in the gaps in information left in the load restraint guidelines (LRG), offers operators and inspectors the advice necessary to ensure a common understanding of how to demonstrate compliance to the performance standard when load restraint curtains are part of the load restraint system.

The guidelines were developed with input from industry experts and enforcement offices from around the nation.

It is believed that this technical advisory will form part of the review of the Guide currently underway by the National Transport Commission.
