Easter is around the corner and one of the staples that will appear in everyone’s kitchens will be hot cross buns, but a WA truck driver is warning drivers that eating hot cross buns could cause you to fail a breathalyser test.
In a video the driver blows into a breathalyser and shows a result of 0.000 and then eats a mouthful of a hot cross bun before blowing into the breathalyser again, this time returning a positive alcohol reading.
The driver claims that just one bite can impact your blood alcohol level, and warns truck drivers to be really careful.
